MEASURING OIL IN WATER

Nexus Analytics Sdn Bhd provides advanced oil and grease in water analysis solutions using OSS ClearShot™ extraction technology and FTIR-based measurement methods. Designed for laboratories, industrial facilities, environmental monitoring, and wastewater applications, the solution enables fast, accurate, and solvent-free determination of total oil and grease (TOG) in water.

The OSS ClearShot™ method is internationally recognized under ASTM D7575 and is capable of measuring low oil concentrations down to 0.2 ppm and below. Unlike traditional extraction methods that require hazardous solvents and lengthy preparation, the OSS approach simplifies the workflow while improving operator safety, reducing waste, and lowering operating costs.

Using patented ClearShot™ extractors with FTIR analysis, laboratories can rapidly measure oil contamination in wastewater, process water, cooling water, drinking water, and industrial systems. The technology also supports hydrocarbon fingerprinting to help identify the source of contamination and improve process control.
